  2. The first card can be anything; the second needs to match the suit.  Since after you take the first card out, there are only 12 cards left of that suit, the probability is 12/51=4/17

    So, 4/17

    52-1=51  51divided by4 =7.8431372549019607843137254901961

    or almost 1 in 8
