No you don't. If you are coming from a country outside of the European Community, you can apply for a transit visa if you intend to stay up to 5 days in France before entering the country of your main destination, outside the European Community. If you plan on connecting in Paris and flying to the Dominican Republic a few hours after arriving, then you do not need a visa.
