If i get a baby ferret will a 7 year old male be nice or mean to it.?

im thinking about getting a new ferret but i will not if rufus "the ferret" will not be fatherly to it.

i don't think that would be a good idea, i don't think "Rufus" would be very nice to her/him. If you want to get another one keep it in a seperate cage next to Rufus for about 2-3 weeks and see what happens also when you take them out take one at a time for a bit and when you think it's the right time you could try taking them out together.

But i wouldn't suggest getting a baby ferret and putting it with an older one, wouldn't work great.
