  1. You have to buy and subscribe to "Hughes Net", or "WildBlue" here in the USA.  (There might be one other... but I'm not sure).

    These are completely separate from dish network and DirectTV (which only give TV and music)...  Hughes net and Wildblue use their own Satellite Dish and modem (hardware).  

    I would highly recommend Cable or DSL internet if you can get either.  If not, try ClearWire.... or a Sprint wireless.  Then.... if all else fails... go with Hughes Net or WildBlue.... slow and expensive.
