You won't even be able to buy a plane ticket to the US if you don't have a visa.  Being married to a US citizen is grounds for applying for a visa, but it takes time, sometimes years to process the application.

No.  You will need a passport for entry and to be on his/her orders, provided you two have a marriage certificate. He/she will have personnel enter your dependent information in DEERS. You will not need a Visa or a Green card to perminently reside in the U.S.

If the soldier is an American citizen, you'd need an immigrant visa. If the soldier is a green card holder, you'd need a tourist visa. You wouldn't need a visa to live with the soldier if he was stationed overseas. You can't get a green card or US citizenship if you don't have an immigrant visa petition filed for you.You'd just be an illegal immigrant married to an American citizen.
