I got my CA permit today, so hypothetically i'll get my license at the end of this year or the beginning of next. THe CA license thing says that once i get my license, i have to wait 12 months before i can drive other people/drive past 11 pm, but if i turn 18 before 12 months are over, am i allowed to legally drive other people and drive late?

  1. As soon as you turn 18, the restrictions do not apply.

  2. I don't know about CA but here in RI where i am from if we get our license and then turn 18 when those rules are in affect they no longer matter since we have turned 18..Try searching on your CA DMV website........http://www.dmv.ca.gov/

  3. As soon as you turn 18 the provisional limitations for those 18 and under no longer apply.
