  1. No. Generally, whatever you give to a Christian corporation is regarded as a donation of kindness, without a transaction of payment involved.

It is better to give than to receive.

  2. No but you can use it as a tax writeoff at the end of the year.

  3. Uh, no.  You give things to the salvation army as a donation - a donation meaning you do not get cash for it.  They will give you a receipt which you can write-off on your taxes.  I don't know if they put in an amount, or if you have to determine the amount.

  4. No. It's considered a donation to the Salvation Army. You may be able to get a receipt for a tax write-off, but not cash.

  5. No......tax deduction........

  6. Hey there.

Simple answer:   If you "give away",  you GIVE AWAY.  No one will pay you back for donating items.  You get a tax receipt to use as a deduction.   If you are wanting money for your stuff....   garage sale is the best solution.

  7. No, you gave it away, you may however right it off on your taxes.

  8. if you're "giving it away", why would you expect to get any money at all??? they don;t buy clothes
