And yes, you do need a college degree to be hired as an airline or corporate pilot.

If you want to be a pilot for a major airline, then yes you need your 4-year degree.  It can by any kind of degree.

Join one of the forces, if you have potential they will train you up. Then it's up to you if you want to be a commercial airline pilot or any other, choice is yours.
