I am English and currently in USA. If i went to a different country for a while then came back to USA will i get a new 90days? I'm thinking of the Bahamas, but which other countries would be good options, and what is the deal with Canada and Mexico? I heard if i go there then come back, i will still have to remain on my original 90 days???

  1. The likely hood of an extension is zero. If you depart the U.S. you will only be re-admitted for the duration of your original 90 day stay.

  2. It is not set in stone, Usually if you make a short trip to an adjacent country or island you come back and resume your original 90 days.... my parents did this, took a cruise with freinds and when they got off the cruise they had to go back through immigration.  They had a different immigration officer to their friends, my parents got a brand new 90 days stamp, and their friends got a stamp the ran out 90 days from their original date of entry into the USA.... I guess it depends on who you get at immigration!
