If i go bankrupt you have to give them your National Insurance No. Do they see any previous names you have...

  1. You`ll have to make a personal declaration stating all your previous names. Failure to do so is in this case a  criminal offence. Be careful.


  2. Bankruptcy filings are public documents, so anyone who knows where to look can see them.  

  3. You should have told your bank and creditors of any change of name, or when you applied for new credit they will ask if you have changed your name or been known by any other name. Its a criminal offence not to disclose name changes, it will be seen as fraud. If you go bankrupt they will ask for any changes of name, and previous addresses. They can find that out pretty easily, through your employer etc. so best to tell them straight!
