If i go to secong screening at the airport would they as for my imigration status

i called tsa i asked them if i could travel with expired id they said it ok as long as i bring marriage licence and social security

I have been put through secondary every single time I have flown in the USA on my EU passport , never once when I have traveled on my USA drivers license. Profiling; perhaps. But no, they have never started asking about my immigration status just pulled me aside for secondary security screening when I was traveling as an identified foreigner. It's not under their jurisdiction to get into your immigration status, they are worried about if you are safe to fly is all.
