  1. Think of it this way, if you were to get all A's in your junior year, the average of the two years would be C's. Its going to hurt you a lot on college apps to see a year with a bunch of F's and D's though. The best thing you can do is make up as much of it as you can in your junior year since colleges wont see much of senior year. Build up your extra curriculars A LOT and do some community service. Anything and everything will help later on. Try to get as much recognition for the things you do as well (in the form of distinguishable awards) that you can put on your apps. I wont lie to you...youre not going to be able to "recover"...but you can at least do some damage control.


  2. idk if u could do this at ur school, but i heard that there were some students who retook a class that they got f's & d's in and they got an A in that class. the A would replace their bad grade on their transcript

  3. If you got a F in a required class you will have to re take it. Are you in college or high school? Some colleges if you a D in a class it does not count for a credit, but will be figured into your GPA.

    If you are HS, you need to check with your school. Go to your counselor.
