If i got a 3.4 as a freshman in high school..then if i get straight a's will i get a 4.0 in sophmore year?

if I got a 3.4 in freshman year gpa then if i get straight a's in sophomore year..then will my gpa be 4.0?

  1. If it is your unweighted overall GPA then no.

    If it's your weighted overall GPA then you can get higher than a 4.0.

    If you just want your GPA for a year or semester, then you start on a clean slate and it is possibly for you to get a 4.0.

    You overall GPA just means that you take all 4 years, or 8 semesters worth of GPA at the end of your high school career, add them up and divide by 8.

    If you want to get your overall GPA  up until your sophomore year then when you complete it you add up all the semesters GPA and divide by the number of semesters. Basically the average.

    If it's weighted it just means that you took honors and or AP classes.

    The semester GPA is pretty self explanatory as well as the yearly GPA.
