If i got the depo shot 3 days after my period would i be safe to have s*x soon after that?

Depo is effective immediately...so you are safe. You should always use a condom though.

I did it without a condom 3 days after my first depo shot and didn't get pregnant...so maybe it will work for you. Everyone's body is different. But if you are worried about a baby and STDS I would advise you to  use a condom.
