  2. It will be worth about half. Today it would be about 505 pounds plus change.

    When you convert you also have to take into account the charges to do so. Your own bank might charge less and even waive the fees in the US. It might be cheaper to just withdraw money from and ATM in Scotland. That is a whole different subject though.
