  1. If you've already gone through MOS training, no.  Unless/until you re-enlist, and even then only if you're not in a shortage MOS.  It's tough.

    If you haven't, ask your recruiter.  Be prepared for him or her to not be happy with you.

  2. If you have not left for boot or basic then all you have to do is tell them you wish to re negotiate your contract..

    You have the right to back out and to re negotiate your contract while waiting to ship..

    Your recruiter will not be happy but he has no choice..Just make it perfectly clear that you will not ship unless you get what you want.

  3. Did you ship out yet? If not, ask your recruiter to "reno" you. If you are already shipped and doing the job you can check for critically shortage MOS' and put in a 4187 to switch.

  4. A reclass may be possible depending on the needs of whatever branch you are in. Typically they are linked to reenlistment options but not always. In the Army you would need to submit a 4187 requesting the change. Sure the other branches of similar forms to complete.
