  1. You can either get 2 seperate boxes for each sub,or 1 box with 2 individual sealed chambers for each sub(the same as 2 seperate boxes) or 1 single box which the subs share the same internal airspace.I will agree with George that there will be little or no difference so long as the box meets the subs specs/requirement.I do disagree that you need a mono block amp.

Mono-amps are more efficient as far as heat dissipation,BUT since you already have a 2 channel Rockford that will be fine.I guess he doesnt know that 2 channel is the exact opposite of mono....Mono means one.But I wont be rude and focus on his lack of knowledge....

Depending on what the subs RMS wattages are and the ohm of each sub will determine how to wire the subs. You have 2 choices....1 on each channel or running both subs to the amp in "bridged" mode.I cant tell you which configuration to go with because You didnt mention what ohm the subs are.

Once you have determined which configuration to go with, then you need to set your gains properly...here is a helpful guide http://www.bcae1.com/gaincon2.htm

  2. There will be no difference at all, as long as the boxes are built to the specs of the subs. The amp should be fine with both subs attached to it. Just make sure that the amp is a mono block.
