Question:

If i have a 30 day cycle do i still ovulate on the 14th day?

i know all the calculators i use say the 14th day... or is the 14th day average like the 28 day cycle? im so confused... thanks

  1. You ovulate when your body feels like ovulating.  Ditch the calculators and calendars.  They base everything on a typical perfect cycle, and no one fits that.

    Check your cervical mucus every day of your cycle.  It's normally pasty and whitish.  Two or three days before ovulation it will become clear and very stretchy.  On the day of ovulation you should be able to stretch it at least three inches without it breaking.

    Even if you had a 28 day cycle it does not mean that you would ovulate on day 14.  Every woman is different.


  2. You might ovulate around day 15 or 16.  My cycles are not 28 days long either they run between 30 to 33 days and I ovulated on 16th day.  just remember everyone is different.  Hope this helps.
