If i have a dance crew what is the best way to become known to the world?

*Online Exposure - Create your own

- Youtube account (and post videos of your dance crew),

- Myspace page (that you need to update regularly: post scheduled shows, videos, etc. - and try to answer comments, they really do make fans happy)

- Website (if you have a myspace page, then this really isn't necessary)

- etc. anything that'll get you recognized on the web

*Local Exposure

- audition and participate in local shows, dance competitions, charity events, etc. No matter how small the program seems, the more exposure the better: you get more fans and you never know whether big names might be at that particular event too.

*Getting Signed

- make a demo tape: a montage of your best dances that you can post online, hand out at shows, or mail to dance companies/entertainment companies (research those that are in your area)

- Don't always look for the big names, start out with a smaller company if you're new (otherwise, the competition in the bigger industry will be INTENSE)

*Be as versatile as possible - reinvent yourself every now and then, while still keeping an essence of who you originally are.

*Get an edge - something that sets you apart from other dance crews - a signature move, signature costumes/colours, etc.

**PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE**

*Be patient, great things don't happen overnight. Keep practicing, keep strutting your stuff and eventually, people WILL take notice :)
