My x landlord sued us for back rent and we paid this. We have all documentation, how can she possibly put a lean on the title?

  1. If it is your X landlord, meaning she own the property, how can she put a lean on your home. is it hers or yours ?

  2. liens are mechanical things.  Contact him/her and get proof that

you paid it from her-him.  Take a copy of that proof to the county

recorder OR a title company and ask them to remove the lien/file the receipt and seek for the lien to be removed.

  3. Can you prove you paid her in full?  Did you get a receipt from her? If so then there is nothing she can do to you.
