If i have a tree plantation can i sell carbon credits? if so how do i go about it?

We do not know where you are, and what your country may be doing in terms of credit trading.

I have to try to think of just how large a carbon credit one would qualify for. Would it depend on how well watered the land is? how much space between trees and how large the trees?

I also wonder, if one had an old stand of trees, that predate Kyoto, does it qualify? Or would one have to cut the old trees down and establish a net new planting to qualify? It does seem odd if one can get credits for doing nothing but buy a  grove of trees that have been there for 70 years.

If one can do this, what a goldmine!
