If i have an HDTV, and a satellite dish, but my satellite receiver is NOT HDTV, will my picture come in HD?

  1. No.

    You need an HD source to get an HD picture.

    However, your TV will upscale the SD signal to its native resolution.


  2. All satellite transmissions are digital and not analog.

    It is HDTV compatible.

    It would be impossible to transmit at long ranges with analog anyway.
