  1. Well, the most common source of input to use is an hdmi cable which vary in price from £10 ($18)    -    ÃƒÂ‚£70   ($120).

    With the hdmi cable you can pick up signals from 480p - 720p - 1080p resolutions.

    But it depends on what you are going to use to get an HD picture quality.

    HD upscaler = 1080i - 720p - 560

    Blueray / ps3 = 1080p - 1080i

    xbox 360 and other = 1080i - - - -

    If your going for a console or HD player/ blue ray with HD then go for this HDMI cable -

  2. either the Component cables or the HDMI cables will give u HDTV.  HDMI is slightly more expensive and has better sound but didn't notice much difference in the picture
