If i have an off peak open train ticket . .?

i know i can't travel between 7:00 - 9:00 and 16:00 - 19:00, but if a get a train at say 15:30 and the journey goes past an hour in time, would i have to get off the train ?

  1. Absolutely not: the restriction only applies to the time you start your journey, not the time you spend making that journey.

  5. No, you will still be able to travel as you got on the train before the peak time started.

No it is gauged to when a service reaches its destination in morning and in afternoon when you join a service, but also subject to other considerations and regulations not advertised but should be explained to you by the selling ticket clerk (the actual fares restriction manual is an A4 size tome covering almost 100 pages of restrictions). And Off Peak starts a lot earlier than 07.00 and finishes at 10.00hrs (trains arriving at destination)
