  1. It depends on how sever the over bite is.If its very minor you will get rubber bands that hook on the braces.If rubberbands wont cut it the yes you will need head gear.


  2. No, not always. Now they can use rubber bands attached to braces to pull your jaw back slowly. Unfortunately though, I  used to have to wear it to sleep! Ouch! :-(
