If i have been sacked from a job in the uk. am i going to have some difficulty finding another job?

i have worked for over 10 years for this company. would the sack be used against me?

Because you will need to mention this company when applying for another post it will to a degree effect their decision, it will very much depend on the reason you were sacked, i worked in HR for a recruitment company for three years so i know this has come up and the final decision was in some cases to err on the side of caution and not take a particular individual on. i am affraid that to be sacked does not reflect well on future interviews but like i said it will very much depend on the circumstances of the dismissal.
