If i have college credit (not in rotc), if i enter the USAF, will i start off at a higher rank than others?

Is this true? I read this somewhere but i dont know where??

  1. Could enter as an E-3 or 4 depeding on how many credits you have. I entered the Nat /Guard with a bachelor's degree as an E-4.


  2. With 20 credit hours, you will enter as an E-2.  With 45 or more credit hours you will enter as an E-3.  You cannot enter any higher than an E-3 regardless of how many credits you have.
