I have my drivers permit and would like to drive with my uncle or grandmother. Is there something i can do, like get a note signed, to make it so i can drive with people other than my parents?

By the way, I got my permit in Utah so it has to go by Utah rules.

  1. Usually, you have to be accompanied by a licensed driver, over the age of 21, sitting in the seat next to you.

  2. What are Utah rules? Her in NY, which I am sure has some of the strictest standards, you only have to be with a licensed adult, not necessarily your parents.

  3. i think as long as they have thier drivers licence

  4. I really researched this, and I am having a hard time figuring out exactly what you mean. I don't know your age, or any specifics, but this site should help. I am going to give you the pdf of the booklet, and the Utah DMV website. Hope this helps, and please remember best answer :)

  5. i don't know the utah rules but in oklahoma you can drive with any person that is at least 21 and has had their license for 2 years
