If i have swimming pool and drained the water is it criminal damage if it as gone into their garden next doors

they next door are complaining about the water that i have emptied from the swimming pool is it criminal damage to their property if the water has gone into their garden

Talk to your neighbors abou. Try to settle it yourself without getting slapped with court papers

No it is not criminal, unless you intended to do the neighbor harm.  However, if he has been harmed, you have an obligation to him.  Talk it over, and see how you can satisfy him.

If there is damage, yes, you are responsible.  

If the damage is extensive, it might be covered by your homeowner's policy.
