  1. Just a passport.unless the visit is longer than your government allows for foriegners, then he will need a visa!

  2. Just tell her to get a passport....If she is only staying for awhile (a few weeks) it shouldn't matter. If she plans on working or getting an apartment then you are up s***'s Creek.

  3. Read this web site from the United States government about applying for a visa. http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/ty...

Also read this web site for the United States embassy in Abuja, Nigeria. http://abuja.usembassy.gov/welcome.html

  4. unless you friend is from a wealthy family you better find a new friend.

Getting a visa from Nigeria is only simple if you are A.  A student that has been accepted to a university and can show that you have the money to pay.  B. Are a business person with proof (real proof) that a business is sponsoring you and then show your reason for needing to come to the US.  or C you have lots of money, can document you have a job, can document that you own a house, can show clear ties to Nigeria so that you would want to go back and then you could try to get a tourist visa.

In other words.... its hard.  She would probably have a better chance of flying to mexico and running across the border than getting a visa.

  5. depends which country she is from...if she's from europe i dont think she needs a visa, if she's from south america/central america...goodluck...it's almost impossible to get one, unless it's to get a student visa, then of course you have to have a sponsor....someone that can prove that they will pay for the students college...at international expense which is....500-1000 dollars per credit....

visas are harder and harder to get now because of the immigration problem....maybe it would be easier for you to go visit her...haha

anyone from south america is REQUIRED to have some kind of visa, even if it's only to visit the US for 1 day....

if they are from europe i think they have up to 60-90 days or something like that....the rest of the world...i dont know

you should tell her to contact the US embassy or consulate in her country....

  6. It is terribly difficult to answer your questions, as we don't know which country your friend is coming from. Just as there are different requirements for Americans traveling abroad, I believe there are different requirements for visitors coming to the States, depending on their country of origin.

The site I've found to be the most helpful to me in planning my foreign trips is posted below. You may have to work with the consulate directly to find the answers you seek, however.

  7. the first thing you need to precise,is from which country is your # mypal # from ??

i cannot answer your question without this vital information.

if you really want an answer? add a comment to your question, by going under your question, there is a little pencil , click on it , and add the origin of you friend's country .
