If i joined the Air Force to be an Aerial Gunner, whats the likelyhood ill get that job?

Is it a critical field? how long is the training for this as well?

    Don't know if it's critically manned-but enlisted aircrew in general are usually under-manned.  If you specifically enlist with the contract of Aerial Gunner-you're going to go.  Keep in mind that Gunners are on AC130s as well as MH53s, HH60s, and eventually CV22s; on Specters they service the weapons, the FOCO actually "fires" them-if that's important to you.

    Regardless, every gunner I've met (and that's been quite a few) really enjoys their job.  Good choice!
