Question:

If i keep this up how much weight will i lose?

Im a 23 year old male who weighs 17st. I have started doing 60 mins a day on the cross trainer followed by 30-45 mins on the rowing machine (moderate pace). Just wondered how long it will take for me to see the results.

  1. You should incorporate weight training. You'll burn a lot more fat during your cardio sessions. I can't really predict how much weight you'll loose but you'll definitely get in great shape doing that much cardio. You don't have to go crazy with resistance training. Just lift enough weight were you feel a really good burn and can barely complete 10-12 reps. Do 2-3 sets. Hit all your major muscles, legs, abs, upper and lower back, shoulders, arms, chest.....and you're good. Focus on the burn when you're lifting. Lift to get stronger not necessarily "cut" (that takes supplements and a severely strict diet).


  2. you will lose lots of water weight,that will shrink your muscles and thats bad...i suggest you just limit to 20 minutes on each equipment and lift weights,iron bars or do pilates after that...you will lose fat and save your muscles at the same time

  3. i don't know how much weight you would loose but you should start seeing results in like 2 weeks  

  4. Probably about 2 weeks, but if you are trying to lose weight you should go on a diet along with your exercising.

  5. Soon,but try diff.exercises,your muscles get used to th crosstrainer

  6. you will lose 2-6 pounds each week after 2 weeks .if you are fat a little so you will loose more if you are skinny a little you will loose less weight
