If i left my sprinkler on for about 3-4 hours would a creek or pond start forming?

  1. That depends on how saturated the ground is.  If you haven't watered the lawn in a few weeks 3-4 hours would not be enough for a creek.


  2. Probably not.  I know people that left their sprinkler on all night accidentally and all it did was leave the ground soft and mushy.

  3. It all depend on the soil on how well it drains. if the soil drain well and watr does not puddle then you will not have a pond. it also depend on the precipitation output the sprinkler  has. if the output is greater than what the soil could accept  then you will get  puddeling.

  4. Right now you will have all the Greenies, enviromentalists & Conservationists itching to get their hands on you. What a careless waste of water, our most precious resource. If you want a pond or stream in your garden create a proper one with advise from a landscaper.
