  3. You didn't miss the live event.  Kentucky didn't even get a partial eclipse.  So you had no opportunity to miss it.

    But you can use the wayback machine to see it - it's in front of you and you're staring at it right now.


  4. No for two reasons.

    One, the 2008 eclipse has come and gone. Second, it will wasn't visible in America except for the very Eastern parts of Maine, and even then, they didn't get to see totality.

    You can watch it by going to youtube and searching "2008 eclipse", or by going to NASA's website.

    Totality in China was fairly disappointing because of all the cloud cover, but there are sharper images out there.

  5. If you live in Kentucky, you're just about ideally situated for the next eclipse, in August of 2017. The path of totality goes through Kentucky, and the point where the duration of totality is greatest is in Kentucky, also, just about due east of Paducah a little ways.
