  1. you havent really said much but yes you can definitly become an aussie citizen. it's very hard as my hubbie recently got his permanent residency and we spent at least $10,000 just on the paper work. and we were married and living together for 5 years. and after you get permanebt residency you must stay in the country for 3 years before you can before a citizen or you can stay a perm. res. but you will loose american citizenship if you become aussie. also to get permanten res. in australia you must have money, skilled in a trade australia wants, no criminal record and be healthy as they do not want you in jail or on  the dole wasting aussie tax payers money. it's a hard, long, expensive process but defintly worth it to live in the best place on earth :P well that's what i think and now i've even got my american hubbie saying that too :)

  2. Australia is just as hard to get into as America.

In order to become a resident there you have to have a certain amount of money before they let you live there and a way to support yourself.

  3. depends how old your talking about

it is very difficult to immigrate to Australia, you need to be a skilled worker in a field Australia needs

if your talking about retirement age you needs LOADS of money to retire in Australia

  4. Not and live in the U.S. If you want to be a citizen of Australia you'd have to move there.

  5. Just to give you an idea; right now, a retiree would need at least $750,000 in cash or readily negotiable assets and  another $750,000 in other assets plus an income of at least $65,000 per year to be able to get a 4 year visa to live in Australia and citizenship is expressly closed to them. They would also need to be very healthy. By the time you retire, you would need much, much more money.

  6. As long as you are not a Republican. We just got rid of a Republican sympathiser and we dont want any more
