The key to eating when you have diabetes is to eat smaller meals and to try to watch your sugar and carbohydrate intake. Limit the amount of carbohydrates to about 45 grams per meal and 15 grams per serving. So 15 grams of brown rice would be about 1/4 cup or less. Make sure you read the nutrition label because the carb content varies from brand to brand.
