I have 5 baby koi in a 10 gallon tank. no problems at all. got a problem people?

  2. I only have a problem if you don't intend to go bigger when your fish needs it. :)

Anyway, yeah you'll be fine. How long of a drive is it to your new place?

When I moved last, I had a 45 gallon tank, a 29 gallon tank, a 37 gallon tank, a 20, a 10 and a 5 to juggle and move. I ended up getting those fish bags from the pet store and bagging all my fish, piling them up in a cooler (no ice or anything, just somewhere dark with a nice handle that wasn't going to change temperatures very much) putting all my substrate and decorations in my 5 gallon waterchange buckets, and carefully moving the tanks in my car. (luckily, three of them are acrylic!)

oya, and I had a breeding pair of angelfish PLUS 135 of their latest fry that I kept all together in yet another bucket (I have lids for my 5 gallon buckets) and they were also just fine - even though it was two days before I could get their place set back up again. I even sold all the babies to one of my local pet stores eventually for enough store credit to get a new coralife fixture and a buncha new plants when I needed them.

so...  just use clean water and move them as fast as possible. :)  They'll be fine.
