  1. REMEMBER BANKRUPTCY IS AN OPTION BUT DO RUN FOR IT IT WILL JUST MAKE YOU CRAZY.

  2. I'm not quite sure how the credit bureau reports to other countries but I do know that things show up on your credit report for years.. Things do charge off but still show up on your credit as a charge off. This happens after the debt has went unpaid for 7 years. I have had bad debt and never thought I would be able to take care of it but fortunately I have been able to... Just remember, that even with bad debt you are a good person and things will get better. best of luck if you move.

  3. If you move to the UK, are you going to become a citizen there so you can remain in the UK forever and not return to your native country to face your responsibilities?

    Just some food for thought.

Now if you were going to move and you knew it would work out, you could sell your car here (or other possessions you might not transport across the pond) and offer it to your debtors as a full settlement... but then they might figure out where you've gone.

Truly I don't know that they couldn't harass you for the money there.  Worse case, they get a warrant for your arrest and if you come back home, you get picked up for a court appearence.
