If i need anything on my bike to be tightened wud they do that wen i go for servicing?

If i need anything on my bike to be tightened for example the chain lined up so it doesn't make a noise when i take it for servicing would they make sure all the tightening wud be done?

  1. Yes, as long as you ask them to do it. If you go for a flat tire then they obviously wouldn't readjust the bike just to be nice.

    That being said, in my shops if a correction takes less than 3 minutes to do we do it for free- even if that is the only reason that they visit, even if they didn't buy the bike here. Flats are fixed for the price of the tube and every bike that comes in has brakes and gears "spot checked". I can't imagine we are the only shops on the face of the planet that does this.

    If your bike seems to be acting strangely, ask them to look it over while you are there and have them suggest a proper service level.
