  1. That is not a good idea. You will be missing out on other nutrients from other foods.

    Remember that fruits do have a lot of natural sugar.

    I would go with the pyramid when trying to eat healthy.


  2. depends how much fruit you eat, fruit has a good amount of sugar in it.  The bottom line on weight loss is always if you eat more calories than you burn you will gain weight.  here is link that will tell you how many calories are in each type of fruit

Well, if you decide to do that over a long period of time, your metabolism will slow down (not good) and then when you decide to eat say a burrito, you will intake more fat and gain weight more easily. I suggest you drink lots of water, eat salads, boca burgers, a vegan stuff, and whole wheat if you want your metabolism at a nice level, and you'll lose weight a little more slowly, but it is worth it.

  6. no, but you'd get sick. You a daily consumption of the major food groups to be healthy. You may also develop an eating disorder. Don't do it!

  13. You shouldn't get fat considering fruits are relatively low in calories, but they are really high in sugar. Water is calorie free. You'll most likely burn more calories throughout the day than what you'll consume.

  14. It depends....grapes and bananas, as an example, are high in sugar  and your body converts sugar to fat, so I would think you could get fat.  Your body needs other nutrients to effectively dissolve and burn the sugars and to give you the energy you need for day to day tasks.

  25. No most likely you will lose some weight at first and then your body will turn on itself because you are not eating any protein that feeds your muscles. I was very ill at a time and was only able to consume about 600 calories my body burned up the muscle I had and fat too. Making my hair fallout and nails stop growing healthy. The best way to keep from getting fat is to eat a variety of good food and exercise.

  27. You need more foods to better your body. Fruits are great but you need others. If your eating them for snacks then no it shouldn't make you fat but everyone is different. Water is great for your body too.

  31. you will only gain weight if you consume more calories than you take in.  it is as simple as that.

    this is about what I eat on a daily basis...not a diet.  I eat these out of habit.  Combined with HITT and some weight training i went from 250 to 185.

    Breakfast Cereal with low fat milk and Low cal protein shake( muscle milk light or gold standard whey)

    mid morning snake" Nuts of some sort, or maybe some cheese( I can’t think of other good snakes right now)

    Lunch: Sandwich with 100%whole wheat bread veggies and some kind of meat with low % fat (you want to stay away from fat) keep it blow say 10% or even lower when it comes to meat

    Mid afternoon snack ( some kind of snack loaded with protein like nuts or another protein shake if you can handle that)

    Dinner ( don’t eat a big dinner) Lean source of protein like chicken, lean ground beef, top sirloin stake,

    bedtime if you go to bed around 10 and need a snack eat some low fat cottage cheese around 9 or so

    I think this diet can get you started but you need to find out what cal intake you need. There are web sites that can assist with that according to your weight and activity level.
