If i only have my permit..can i drive in other states?

with my parents i have a Virginas permit..and want to drive in ny..and the states i have to go through to get back to va.

  1. I had a permit in Illinois last year and drove in Indiana. I don't think there is any issues with that. Just don't get pulled over and you won't need to find out.


  2. Yes you can drive anywhere in the united states as long as you follow the rules and restrictions that came with your license from your state of Virginia.......

  3. ABSOLUTELY NOT. I'm from NY and you ARE NOT allowed to bring "foreign" permits or drive with your NY permit in other states. Look it up yourself in the NY DMV website
