  1. Hope so or the bank will hammer you big time

On additional details then No the bank will not authorise the transaction and would be held at fault if they did, provided you'd reported the card stolen as soon as you noticed it missing.

  2. Not necessarily, but if you spend more than the amount you have available, the bank will nail you for an unauthorised overdraft, charge you interest on the amount outstanding and may stop/return unpaid any direct debits or standing orders you may have. Plus, you'll be charged for each and every direct debit the return.

It can get very costly, in a very short space of time, and once out of hand, it's h**l's own job to get it back under control.

DON'T DO IT - IT ISN'T WORTH THE TROUBLE AND EXPENSE

  3. yes i have done it

Will COST YOU for that £100

    Not worth it,

    do not do it

  4. If will go through, but unauthorised over-draught is very, very expensive. You need to ring the bank and ask for an arrangement to lower fees.Ask your self why am l buying something that l don't have the money for? It's the road to ruin.Be strict and save and buy,Never!! take credit. It can be done with discipline

  5. In theory without overdraft your card would be denied. Although the merchant may be in an offline mode, which in that case it would go through just at a later date.

  6. hey.. ur bank would give u an unauthorised overdraft, it would let u spend 600 pounds and it would go 100 overdrawn, to avoid the huge charges, its best all round if u actually go to ur bank and set up an overdraft as they will charge you a lot.. like £75 if u take out unauthorised overdraft without telling them at least.

  7. It will probably be declined due to insufficient funds.

  8. they will take it, but as you already know will get charged a massive amount for doing this. Go into your bank and set up an overdraft then if you go over you will not get charged

  9. The bank will stop the payment and depending on who you bank with it will charge you about £15 for stopping the void transaction.

You should really ask your bank to stop giving you a false overdraft you shouldnt have, =/
