If i order a cd from ubuntu will they call me?

no.. when ordering something they usually ask for the phone number to verify... that you have one.... they wont call

You will not recieve a call, I did this before and it just came unexpectedly came in the mail one day. That is, if you only ordered one, cuz I don't know what happens if you order a lot more CDs.

If it is the parents computer, they may have good reason to.  Changing the operating system is a MAJOR thing that can s***w up their stuff.

You can download the stuff and run it off a cd..

basic line of computers.. if you don't own it, you don't make major changes.
