no... sry i dont think so. too bad they dont ship on sunday, first class usually takes like 3-4 days

No way.  Even next day air might not be there.  If these are textbooks, check if there is an online version avaiable.  One of my four texts is downloadable right away.

BTW, if you Google amazon and complaints, you will get a jillion people telling how their orders got messed up.  I use Borders and have never had a problem.
