  1. i had directv once and to get the pro games either nhl ,mlb or nfl you needed to order the package of center ice to not have the games blacked out.if you just order the fox sport net package the game will be blacked out right after the pregame

  2. youll get some games, but not all of them.  i have the fox sports package but many times games get blacked out, or they show basketball or something else instead.  If you are getting it just to watch hockey, you should just order the CenterIce package to make sure you can get all the games you want to see, plus more games you dont want to see.

With directv, many times you can get both home and away commentary/feeds.  On Time Warner, its usually just the away team.

  3. Whichever one would be considered local for you would have the game.  However, if you aren't local to either, the FoxSports package gives you neither feed (both blacked out).  You would have to purchase the NHL package to view out of area games.
