  1. I would say that it would get hot,  then it would go in to protection mode, depending on the amplifier and the settings that you have it on (gain), maybe a fuse would blow, if it is a monoblock class d amp it would probably take the abuse, a AB class amp would get hotter then maybe shutoff, until it cools, then there is clipping from distortion that can cause damage to a sub or speaker.

  2. most  amps  are  designed  to  deliver  thwe  bulk  of their power in the  first  two  thirds  of  the  throw  of  the  k**b  that  means  up  to  about  6-7 out  of  10 if thats  the  scale  .

beyond that  you  add  nothing  major  in  the  way  of  volume  but  a  lot  of  distortion  and  it  ios  your  speakers  you  should  be  worried  about  more than the  amp.

speakers  are  rated  for  clean power and  even  quote  a  distortion  rating  with  their  power  rating.

too little  power  means  you  haver  to  drive  the  amp  to  hard  to  work  the  speakers  and  it  distorts.the  more  power  you  have available  the  better  so  that  you  get  get  the  same  volume  from  a  lower setting  and  have  enough lpowerr left  for  the  peaks.

a  speaker  can be  driven  past  its  rating  more  safely  with  clean  sound  than  it  can  with distorted within  its  rating.

the  amp is  like  any  power  unit .  as  long  as  its  kept under  proper  condition  it  will  keep  pushing  out  the  sound.  as  long  as  there  is  no  feedback or  other  extreme  signals involved  a little  overdrive  accasionally  wont  kioll it  but  it  will  hurt  the  speakers  so  DONT

  3. Best case scenario: signal distortion

Worst case scenario: burnt out components.
