If i own 1 share of disney, what percent of the entire company do i own?

is it possible to know this? or how many shares are there total of the company. alos is it possible to buy preffered stock instead of common stock?

there are 7,794,666 shares according to the 3/2008 prospectus ( see the link below)

If you have one share you have such small percentage.... divide 1 by 7794666  that will give you your share %
