If i plant bare root oriental poppies in the fall will they flower the next spring?

  1. If the poppies are healthy, then you should see them bloom the next year. Poppies are pretty easy to grow but they do need a lot sun and rich garden soil and as long as you keep to this formula, you shouldn't have any problems!

  2. Well I have been gardening for a long time, and under no circumstance was there ever a bare root poppy. They always need a HUGE root ball around them so that they do not feel disturbed when transplanted.

       I am only speaking from personal experience here.

    Not as an expert!
