  1. you get £10 back but you win £6 cos you put out £4 on bet

  2. Hi

It depends on the number of horses running. For instance if there are  quite a few runners as in the grand national, thr first four give winnings so, you'd get a quarter of the odds which is 4 times £2 = £8.

If it is a race with say only five horses probably only the first two give winnings.

For an each way bet in a race with a large field starting  if your horse wins you also get the winning odds of 16 times £2 as wel as the quarter odds.

  3. A place in h**l.

  4. your winnings will be what we call in yorkshire "nowt " or nothing, nada, zilch ! if your old enough go to the bookies and find out. you're not allowed to gamble if your under 18.

  5. Congratulations on your win. I have to say, it won't change your life, but you should enjoy a nice wee return, as long as you don't give it all back to the bookie!

  6. A gambling addiction

  7. by my calculations 12 quid in total, that includes your placement of 2 quid each way

  8. You will get a quarter of money so £2.00 x 16= £32, quarter of that is £8.00 + your £2.00 bet, so i make that £10.00
