If i put a banner on my site can i charge cpm and what is cpm? do my visiters have to click on the banner for$

If you have a website with high traffic you can put other marketer's banners on your site and charge them per impression or per click. Or you can go to google adsense and have their ads on your site and you will get paid everytime someone clicks on those ads.

CPM stands for Cost per Mile. Here Mile means 1000 Page impressions of your site. So you will get paid when that particular banner get 1000 imressions on your site. No need for visitors to click on that Banner.
